Jill Stanford Dance Center  

The Jill Stanford Dance Center provides formal instruction for children and adults in a friendly, professional atmosphere. Our facilities include spacious studios with suspended wood and Marley flooring. Our Brunswick Studio has a Dance Wear Boutique that offers professional dance shoe fitting. The school has been in operation for 40 years and offers quality instruction by professional staff at both locations. Weekly instruction is provided from August through May with an annual performance held in May.

Classes are offered in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and adult dance classes. Dance is fun and exciting at the Jill Stanford Dance Center! It takes practice and hard work to become an accomplished dancer, but from the beginning student to the senior dancer, the physical, mental and social experiences can bring great satisfaction to all who participate. The studio offers a wonderful avenue for those seeking a fun and exciting challenging activity, or a professional career in dance.

Southern Dance Theatre

Through many years in the dance business, Jill strives to bring new and exciting opportunities to her students. In 1994 she formed Southern Dance Theater, a local production company. Open to all dancers in the area, SDT produces annual productions that have become favorites within the Golden Isles and surrounding counties. The Nutcracker Ballet was the premier production for 20 years during the holiday season, closing to standing ovations show after show, year after year. The company now performs The beloved Grinch Who Stole Christmas in the month of December.
